Z'them was sleeping calmly, and was Lilith, as she was currently cuddled up to her Adath. Lilith would be very possessive of her new cuddly weyrmate. Seeing the two of them would be an entertaining site, she was positively dwarfed by the big Storm. And, unfortunately Jeni's brain can't produce anything else for the moment.

Adath was cuddly! But big, so he had to be careful not to squish the cuddle-ee. Man that dragon was huge... Anyway!
Upon waking up, Raiden did not scream, cry, or shriek hysterically and fall over, as most girls before her had done. Instead, she very calmly got up, reached for her clothes, and dressed quietly, hoping to leave before she was noticed. Her behavior now was barely comparable to her frantic shouting at Adath please not to go beforehand, and that in itself was a bit odd. But she seemed normal about it. What's one more, after all?

Z'them rolled over in his sleep. Something told him it was morning and he should get up. After a few incoherent sleep mumblings, none of which were actual words, he slowly opened his eyes and let the adjust. "...Good morning." He said calmly, sitting up in the bed as he saw Raiden adjust the last of her clothes.

"Good morning," Raiden replied shortly, straightening out her jacket. Professional courtesy did not extend to mornings. In fact, professional courtesy often didn't come into the equation at all. It depended on the customer, really. She narrowed her eyes distrustfully. Mine? As she turned her head toward the ledge, Raiden's expression softened. Yes? You are upset. Not at all, love. When you're done fooling around, we'll go and get you something to eat, shall we? Silence for a moment. Yes, Mine. Raiden turned back, nodded curtly, and made her way to the door. She just wanted to get out of there...

Lilith didn't hear the exchange between the Adath and Raiden, but she knew that Adath was awake, and promptly snuggled even closer to him. How that was possible remains unknown. But she did. You are the best. She stated sleepily, meaning that he was the best in every way possible. And you, she said, privately directing her next words at Z'them, are feeling confused. What's wrong? I think Raiden is angry. Though I'm not sure why. Z'them answered, indeed confused by Raiden's demeanor. Then ask her, silly. You always think everything is that easy, don't you? Z'them thought back, mentally rolling his eyes. The only response he got from the Rain was a smug, mental laugh. "Raiden, is there something wrong?" He asked, folliwing his dragon's advice against his better judgment.

Raiden treated Z'them with a well-practiced smile, polite and edged. "Not at all. I trust you enjoyed your stay, but I'm afraid that your time is up. I have other things to be seeing to." It was her traditional times-up speech for customers, when she had needed it. She'd never worked with her mother except when Sia had desperately needed medicines or foods that they couldn't afford, but this had been often enough for her to develop traditions of behavior. Mine... Adath said uneasily. Don't worry, love. Still troubled, Adath turned to Lilith. Thank you, he said seriously.

Z'them was still confused, and now a bit weirded out. She sounded like he was at a meeting with a psychiatrist or something. That wasn't usually a good thing. "Um, sure, yeah." Lost on what to say. Well, he knew what he wanted to say, how he wanted to know how much this would change things between them, but he was a bit afraid of the answer. Lilith gave a contented hum. Then she actually tuned in to what was going on around her. Don't worry about the silly ones, they will work it out eventually. Lilith replied, sounding very unconcerned with it. She didn't always understand humans.

"Goodbye, then," Raiden said, smoothing her hair into place in its braid. She turned to Adath. "I'll see you later, love," she said, out loud so that Z'them knew that Adath would be staying. Then she turned on her heel and marched to the door with every intention of making her exit.
However, this was Raiden, and seeing as she hadn't done anything too horribly unlucky today, it just so happened that the stone was particularly slick, since this was one of the most commonly used Flight weyrs and it was worn down from being walked on, she slipped and fall over backwards. Of course, she landed on her head, which hurt quite a bit.
And then, to make everything worse, dearest Lightning appeared from nowhere and attached herself to her mistress' face, shrieking. Thunder chose not to make an appearance.
Mine?!

((*laughs*))
"Raiden!" Z'them exclaimed, jumping out of the bed to run over and help. It looked and sounded like it had hurt. A lot. Luckily, Z'them had produced a pair of boxers and had remembered to put them on before rushing to her aid, though, he was still mostly naked.
Oh dear, I hope she is okay. Lilith said, lifting her head from Adath's neck and looking over at her concernedly. Raiden had always been Lilith's favorite person aside from Hers.

"Ack!" Raiden flailed, grabbing at Lightning in an attempt to get the spazzy little flitt off of her face so that she could sit up. "Lightning, get off of me, shardit, you're scratching my face!" Having managed to pry Lightning off her face, she tried to address Z'them at the same time as getting to her feet. Now she was flailing in his general direction, trying to shoo him away. "No, no, I'm fine, I'm fine!" There went her cold turkey cutoff exit...

Yeah, so much for that. Life never seems to want to follow the plan you want. "Are you sure?" Z'them said, still looking a bit concerned. "It looked, and sounded, like you fell pretty hard.." He said, intending to reach out and touch her head but withdrawing his hand before it got very far. "That can't be good for your head.."

"I'm fine," Raiden insisted, leaning away the second his hand so much as twitched. "Please stay aw- I mean, don't worry." She got up and made her way toward the door again. "Really, I do worse things to myself every day- get off, Lightning- Adath, please call Lightning." The Storm growled at Lightning, who zipped immediately to his side and fawned adoringly over her big brother.
