Well, Z'them really couldn't argue with that. She had fallen out of a tree the first tome he met her. "Well, I guess if you're sure," he said, not wanting to argue with her or contest the fact that she said she was fine, "then I'm not worried." A slight lie. He believed that she was fine, but that really wouldn't completely stop him from worrying.

"Good!" Raiden was edging backward toward the door, fingers searching behind her back for the knob. The manic grin on her face was merely an attempt to look calm that wasn't much working. Adath was under the impression that His had quite simply gone insane. Mine? he asked incredulously. Not now!

Z'them was under the same impression as Adath at the moment. The grin she was sporting was rather.... disturbing. To say the least. "Uhh...yeah.." Nice unnecessary statement Z'them. This statement was followed by a disbelieving look as he continued to take in the manic grin Raiden was giving him.

"Well... I'm just going to... leave now." Aha! She had found the door. "Goodbye!" She wrenched open the door and backed out. On a count of three, as soon as he stopped paying attention, she was going to run for it.

Well, it wasn't Z'them that tried to stop her at the moment. Leave it to Lilith to ruin "Raiden's Escape: Take Two." Aw, leaving so soon, Raiden? The Rain asked in her lovely melodic voice, sounding a bit disappointed.

Shardit, now Lilith was watching her! "Yes," she said shortly, then blushed. "I'm sorry," she apologized, still speaking only to the dragon. "That was rude of me. But yes, I'm leaving." Why would I stay? she added to herself, but not aloud. She didn't want to hurt Lilith's feelings.

Oh. Lilith replied, still disappointed. Then she brightened. But you'll come back to visit soon, right? She asked hopefully. Apparently her feelings were not hurt in the slightest. Well, as long as she still got to see the girl frequently.

Raiden fidgeted uneasily. "Maybe," she said. No, she thought. She'd see Lilith again, or course, but she was going to avoid Z'them if she could. It wasn't... it wasn't anything... personal. It was just habit to avoid customers. Even the ones that hadn't paid... well, especially ones that didn't pay when they were supposed to. Nothing to do with Z'them at all, she assured herself, and felt better.

Good! You should! You are always welcome! Lilith beamed in a way only a dragon could beam. I always love seeing you, as you know. And Z'them does too. Although, he sometimes feels all funny and slightly nervous when you're around. I don't know what it is, I guess he's just silly sometimes. She mused, finding nothing wrong with sharing such information. "Lilith!" Z'them retorted, seeming almost embarrassed as he silently fumed at his dragon for saying something like that. For a second, one may have seen a hint of a blush on his cheeks. But, then again, it could just be a trick of the light.

"That's nice?" Raiden said, unsure what to make of the information. "So, um... I'll just be... going now." She spun out the door, and fled.

Bye-bye! Lilith called after her cheerfully. Z'them shot the Rain another small glare, then went to find a shirt to put on. Lilith seemed indifferent and went back to snuggling comfortably against Adath.

...which Adath enjoyed quite thoroughly.
The end. =D
