Pandra was sitting by the stream, tossing pebbles into the air for Gluttony to catch. The flitt was only doing this in the hope that the pebbles might be something to eat. He was well named. And adorable. Dusth was curled up behind the girl and her three flitts. There wasn't much else to do, so Pandra was taking a brake from.... Everything! Oceane was exuding an aura of happiness. She normally did the opposite, and had an aura of worry about her. She was constantly chasing after the other two of Pandra's flitts, who were always getting into trouble.

Oh! OH. LOOK. IT IS DUSTH. HELLO DUSTH! Salaronth could clearly be heard over by the Weyr, even as he touched down on the other side of the stream. His rider slid off with now-practiced ease and promptly ignored Pandra, starting to stretch out the kinks in his arms and legs that had developed from riding the Blue for far longer than he was used to. He'd been looking forward to playing in the stream, but it looked like he wouldn't be now. No way was he stripping down in front of a girl. Especially not a Queenrider. Though she was awfully young to be one, he mused, then ignored her again. Salaronth did enough socializing for the both of them, anyway. How are you on this fine and sun-shiny day? And he was happy enough for more than just both of them.

Hello Salaronth. Yes, it is a very nice day. Why is yours looking so.... dreary? Dusth had arched her neck so that she was staring at J'din. Dusth's stare was quite creepy. If J'din was going to ignore Pandra, Pandra would ignore J'din. Although she wouldn't care if he took a swim. She probably wouldn't even notice. She was just happy that she wasn't with K'fe, who had BEEN SO SHARDING ANNOYING LATELY. Ah, peace. Gluttony, annoyed that there was nothing to eat, dove into the stream and started to splash around. It was a few moments before Drran joined him. It took Oceane a little longer to get comfortable, with someone else there, but she finally managed to get into the water. "Gluttony, stop it." Pandra yawned, turning over, so that she was now lying on her stomach. How are you?

Oh, Jaisemine always looks like that. I think he looks a bit funny with his lips all turned down all the time, but he scolds me for saying so, the Blue confided easily in the other, never having had a problem sharing and flaunting personal information around the Weyr. The only indication that His had picked up on what the dragon said was the slight twitch in his eye and brief glare at the Blue. The dragon was always doing that, and he couldn't say he enjoyed it. But he enjoyed chastising Salaronth in front of someone else - in particular a girl - even less. His opinions were kept carefully to himself as he settled into the grass and rubbed out a kink in his leg, eyes drifting up to Pandra. He had never really spoken to her, much less acknowledged her existance. Oh, he knew her as the wild weyrbrat she had been, but had no idea what she was like now. His eyes dropped away and his mind lingered on the thought. I am quite fine, thank you for asking! It is difficult to be anything less than fine on such a beautiful day! ...well, except fpr Mine, but he is always like that, as I said.

Yours is very interesting, to say the least, Salaronth. Dusth commented, tucking her head into her body as she looked at the blue instead of his moody rider. Waves of not caring were emanating from Pandra, much like emotions came from Oceane. Dusth liked information about people. She and hers could use it to blackmail people into letting them have the key to the cookie jar. Yes, Pandra likes cookies almost as much as Theo. They don't make Panni insane like they do Theo, but why would Pandra need to be even more insane than she is currently? "C'mere Drran," Pandra said to the green, who was picking on Oceane. Once the green had reluctantly come out of the water, Pandrra scooped her up, and began tossing her into the air and catching her. Drran didn't like it, but she was resigned. She did make high-pitched shrieking noises every time Pandra tossed her up. That is very good. You shouldn't let yours keep you down, such a talented individual such as yourself. Dusth told Salaronth, nodding her head regally. She had no clue what she was saying.

Oh, I think so, he agreed. He started to get fidgety, if only because he found he had nothing important to say. He didn't even have anything trivial to say. Salaronth sulked a little. J'din looked up again at her voice, finding it less annoying than it had been the last time he paid her any attention. Not that he was giving her any now, he amended his thoughts and successfully managed to believe himself. He narrowed his eyes at her, watching her toss the poor green in the air. The shrieking noises were far from pleasant, and the Bluerider was reminded once again why he'd never bothered to get one himself. "Do you mind?" His voice was quiet from disuse. For all his glares, his words held no malice or anger. Just disapassionate annoyance. Because J'din could pull off disapassionate annoyance, whatever that is.

Isn't the sky nice? And the water too. Have you felt the water? Dusth was good at coming up with things. Random though they may be. It was another one of her useless talents. She had many of those. Dusth dipped her tail into the water, and then flicked it up, so that droplets of water went sailing for J'din, and Salaronth's muzzle. "Oh, sorry." Pandra put Drran down, and the green huffed, before settling down to preen her wings. Pandra raised an eyebrow at the flit, but then ignored her. Oceane crawled into Pandra's lap, before curling up. Contentment radiated off the small coral.

Oh! Yes! The sky is very nice! Salaronth was easily entertained (not distracted, though it is much the same thing) and latched onto the topic she offered. Her useless talent was not wasted on the Blue. He quite enjoyed talking about nothing. I have felt water, but not this wa-oh! OH. IT IS NICE. He wagged his snout in the air and shifted onto his feet, moving to dip his muzzle into the stream. J'din blinked at his dragon. It wasn't unusual behavior at all. He'd gotten used to it. What he wasn't used to was feeling wet. He looked down at himself, glad he wasn't too wet. A finger wiped at a drop on his cheek and flicked it away, returning his attention to the Bloodroserider. "Thank you," he said simply, then went about removing the various drops of water from his skin. He had to deal with the water that had already soaked into his clothing, however uncomfortable it was. Jaisemine, the water is COLD. Salaronth told him quite enthusiastically. "Yes, I'm sure it is," his rider murmured aloud as he often did.

Cold? I think it is nice. Pandra grinned across at J'din. He was just a bit on a whiner, wasn't he? Then she remembered she was ignoring him, and bent to scratch Oceane on the eyeride. The flitt didn't make a sound. She never did, but she was happy. Very happy. She was such a good flitt, unlike the other two that Pandra had. There were trained... when food was involved, but otherwise... not so much. It made everything so much more fun! "Sure, whatever." It did Drran good to be thrown around a bit, but if someone else didn't enjoy the evil pleasure of it, then she wouldn't bother with it. Harumph. I like water.

Cold is nice! he agreed, always agreeing. He rarely did anything other than that, unless it concerned his rider's bland or moody...mood. I am the same color as the water...and the sky! Isn't that nice? I think it is nice. J'din rolled his eyes at the happy simplicity of his dragon. If the Blue was happy how he was...fine. Though he couldn't deny that he loved him...but he found it annoying a decent amount of the time. Again he looked up at Pandra, and found nothing better to look at.

Oh! I love cold! I wish it would snow! Pandra says snow is very nice and pretty! Yes, Ami likes snow. Dusth didn't mind the agreement. It was something she was useful to with Justith, who was always following her around asking her if this was right, or if that was wrong. It got annoying, but a new voice wasn't so bad. Pandra would have hit her head against a a rock... except that wasn't dignified for a queenrider. She's do it anyways. "I want to go swiming!" She announced to the world, getting to her feet, and setting Oceane on her head. She ran for the water, not caring if she still had clothing on. Just as J'din wasn't about to strip with Pandra there, Pandra wasn't about to strip with J'din there. SHE WOULD GO IN WITH ALL HER CLOTHING! YAY! Do not get sick, mine.

Salaronth had to pull the meaning of 'snow' from his rider's mind, sine J'din was less than fond of the white powdery stuff that made his nose run. He hated it when his nose ran, as he was always rubbing at it and trying to maintain his air of 'I don't care now leave me alone'. It was hard to do that when he had to constantly blow his nose. Ooh, I think I would like snow, too! Though mine does not seem to enjoy it. It makes stuff drip out of his nose, the Blue mused. Salaronth! his rider snapped, cheeks heating in the slightest, eyes narrowed at the Blue. Salaronth took his snout out of the stream and turned to look at His. They stared, but J'din was the one to look away with a grumble. I always win. He sounded smug. J'din didn't notice, too busy noticing that Pandra seemed intent on jumping into the stream. Fully clothed. The Bluerider blinked, finding it more odd that the Coral flitt was still on her head, rather than the fact that she was still clothed. Not that he wanted to see her without clothes. Because he couldn't be bothered to be interested in that.

That's what mine said. She said that not many people like it, but that she does! She doesn't remember it much though. She saw it when she was very tiny. Less than a dragonet! Dusth couldn't imagine that, but what Pandra had ments -although Dusth hadn't understood- was that she'd seen snow before she'd become a Weyrling, and before Dusth was hatched. I want to see snow! Pandra jumped into the lake, with a huge splash, Oceane clinging to her head. Pandra was giggling when she came up, and made for the shore. That water was cold! It woke her up......

J'din, having nothing better to do at the moment than stare at a rather wet Queenrider, decided to listen in on his dragon's conversation. However, he forgot to take his eyes off Pandra before they unfocused. Makes sense that a crazy girl would like something like snow, he sighed, fingers absently brushing against the blades of grass at his side. It was a habit of his - when he wasn't paying attention, his body fidgeted, needed to move. He couldn't control it and wasn't aware of it since he usually focused all his attention on one activity, which was now listening to Salaronth and Dusth. Less than a dragonet? he had to think about that, and inevitably got sidetracked. Mine was happy when he was less than a dragonet. Now he is not, though I am trying to get him happy again. Salaronth... J'din warned him again, lips thinning with his obvious displeasure at what the Blue was speaking of.

Like Mith's mine? Dusth asked, tilting her head on one side. Her tail was still flicking back and forth, flinging water in every direction. She was doing this on purpose though, as it made J'din fidget. Maybe that was the unfocusing though. Not that Dusth could tell. She wasn't the smartest dragon, but neither was she the dumbest. It made for an interesting life. Although mine informs me that Mith's rider was never quite right in the head. "Loopy" she said. Dusth! Pandra cried mentally, coming out of the water again. Her hair was a mess, and she rather looked like some water monster. Had she known this, she would have laughed, then dived back into the water, and attacked your legs. You don't tell people things like that! Dusth turned to stare at Pandra. Why? You said it. That's completely different. Pandra said, putting her hands on her hips and pouting. Anyways. I hope yours gets better. If i may help.... Dusth was now ignoring Pandra, who gave up, and dove back under the water, to try and attack her dragon's tail as it went past.
