He frowned. "I said no, Theo. And I do mind. So I'd stop backing away before I lock you in a room with no windows or ledges for nine months." C'rin crossed his arms, looking like he meant it. Why not? Babies are fun! And cute! And sooo cute! Large volcabulary you have there, Mith.

Theo glared. "I don't belong to you, C'rin," she snapped. "I can do whatever I want." Hmm... Mith, do you think that Ours would like each other more... if it was a cute squishy? It sounded odd for Lykath to say words like 'squishy' when Theo wasn't hyped up on cookies. "Why in the world do you want it so badly?"

"Oh sure, do whatever you want. You know I don't care what you do. Go chop off your arm, overdose on sugar, fall of Lykath, whatever - just don't do it while pregnant with my son." He galnced around, then leaned against the wall, too lazy as usual to actually stand. "And I don't need a reason. Since when do I have reasons?" Perhaps. Mine does seem more tolerant of Yours now. But we wont know if she gets rid of the squishy.

Lucianamineown, Luciana heard in her head as the Coral walked up to her, Your Reath is glad you are here. She gazed down at the dragonet for a moment-it was a coral, cuddly-looking, yet dignified at the same time. "I'm glad you're here too, Reath," Luciana said, gently rubbing Reath's eyeridges. I hunger, mineown. "Right. Let's get you some food."

Then I will not let her get rid of the squishy, Lykath decided. And, suddenly, Theo didn't want to. "You're right!" she said, twinkling at him. She skipped over. "I should definitely keep it! That's a wonderful idea! This is fabulous." She paused, and Theo herself kicked Lykath (mentally) and tried to surface for a moment. "You know..." she said slowly. "This will mean... that... we're together forever, in a way. Always... together. In... it. You... don't like that. So why..." She shook herself, and Lykath's influence made an appearance again. "No matter!" she sang. "Isn't this nice? Come on, we're missing the Hatching!" And she danced back in. Shinth clued in. What? Nothing.

Oh Lykath, you are so smart! C'rin was confused and - quite frankly - a little scared. He took a step away from the twinkling Theo, wary look disppearing only when she started acting like herself again. He balked at her words, obviously not the type of man to enjoy those thoughts. He pressed his lips together and then huffed. But he was saved the trouble of answering her when Lykath took ahold again and Theo danced back into the Sands. This woman was going to drive him crazy, if he wasn't already. Maybe he was now, and just thought he was sane. Perhaps. It might explain some things. C'rin sighed and rubbed at his head, following her back in, looking much more subdued.

((Of course we're doing fostering. xP But I'll take care of details and such.))
Of course I am, the Mist said smugly. She addressed Theo. See, Mine? Isn't it nice when you let me do the thinking for you? NO. I am glad you think so.

MMMMMMMMMMMMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Perdido was surprised by the voice, and the Green charging at her, although she made no attempt to move. The connection had been missed, and the beautfiul woman smiled. The wound she refused to acknowledge was still there, but this new dragon occupied her mind instead. Mine! Mine should not be sad, Saristh does not like sad! But Saristh does like food. OH, LOOK, SARISTH IS SHINY! LOOK AT SARISTH! "You're pretty, Sari," said the woman admiringly, leading the dragonette off to be fed.

Kerion was still looking around in absolute confusion when-
Marinoth has found you, K'rionmine!
He was tackled to the sands by a dragonet.
"Ouch! What the-?"
I have FOUND you, and I am hungry! Let's go eat, shall we? the Spector squeaked, scrambling to his feet.
"Uh..." The boy stared for a minute, his mind suddenly registering the fact that it was connected to another one. He'd Impressed?
Yes, yes! You are most impressive!
Unable to think of anything to say, Ker....... K'rion stood and nodded at the hatchling.
"Hungry, right?"
Oh, yes! Marinoth scampered off toward the food.
"Wait!" K'rion called, running after him, but he was grinning. Marinoth's cheerfulness was affecting him, now, not to mention the fact that...
HE'D IMPRESSED! A King, no less. Enough to make any boy happy!

Now the only un-bonded dragonets left on the Sands were the Rain and the Storm. The pair was, respectively, sitting next to Raiden and sitting on Zethem. And staring at each other. Occasionally, they glanced at their sit-ees. Out of nowhere, both suddenly left their places and charged forward. For a moment, it looked as though they were going to attack each other. However, they passed at the center of the Sands. The Rain headed straight for Zethem, the Storm for Raiden. Mine! the Rain squealed in joy, leaping upon the... the boy?! Mine! cried the Storm, tackling the... the girl?! What was going on here? Mine, your Lilith did not know what to do. Lilith loves Z'them, but Lilith is a Queen, and Lilith also loves that one, but Lilith loves Z'them more. Lilith's voice was musical, like the light pattering of rain. This announcement was accompanied by a nod. Mine, your Adath also did not know what to do, but he decided that he had to go to his Raiden. Adath's voice was a gentle rumbling bass, low thunder. But there is something wrong with your Lilith. Can Lilith tell Z'themmine her secret? Lilith will tell Z'themmine. Lilith is not good, Z'themmine. Lilith is in... in... What is the word, Adath brother? Infertile. Yes. Lilith is infertile. Is that bad? Is Z'themmine angry with Lilith? Adath butted against Raiden's knees. There is also wrong with Adath. Adath is sick. Adath cannot be fixed. There is a problem with Adath's heart. It is too strained. Adath might die. The Storm looked up, worriedly. Is Raiden angry with Adath for bonding to her when he is sick?

Zethem had impressed!........ To a Queen...?! Well, that was certainly unexpected. First a Storm came and sat on his feet, and then the Rain the male dragonette on his feet had obviously befriended ran straight for him as the male went for Raiden. Impression. Haha. Now Z'them was a Queenrider. And he noticed that Raiden was a Kingrider. The whole thing would've been rather amusing if Z'them had thought about it. Jeni sure thinks it is! But, Z'them was currently staring at the Rain, who had just jumped on him, in his arms. Gathering his senses, he smiled at Lilith. "Of course I'm not angry with you." He said comfortingly. "I could never be angry with you, Lilith." He told the dragon, reaching to scratch her eyeridge affectionately. For he already loved her, queen or not, infertile she may be. He didn't care! He impressed! There was no way he would ever complain. Once the Rain's lovely musical voice entered his head, he was filled with a joy he'd never felt before. "And no, it's not really bad. You are perfect to me!" He told the dragonette with anohter bright smile. Oh good! Lilith is very glad to hear that her Z'them is not angry with her! And that she is perfect for him. Lilith said in her rain-like voice.

The Hatching was over. Though only half of the eggs had Hatched, no more moved. At this point, after shooing out the stragglers, a Queen would leave the Sands, letting her unHatched eggs sit until they rotted and decomposed. Dragon eggs did this rather quickly after their brothers and sisters Hatched. However, Lykath would just not leave. Perhaps it was because this was her first Clutch, but she just... wouldn't. Maybe she was trying to set a good example for Theo, who had gone to wait in her on-Sands office. Lykath had to leave eventually. But the Mist stayed, long into the night...
