Whatever was in the forest that came out at night was not to be frightened of. It should be frightened of Leu, who had decided that it would be very nice to take a stroll at sunset, right after hearing the rumors about the forest. Her blank expression gave away nothing as she studied the trees by the flickering lightning. Leu liked rain, it was very comforting and gave her a rare sense of calm. Not that anyone would know, because Leu's expression wouldn't change if she died. Not that Leu can actually die... mind you. Leu would rise from the dead and haunt you. And everyone else too, but mostly you, because she doesn't like you. Amazingly, because of the rain, Leu hadn't gotten wet yet. If Leu didn't want to get wet, she didn't get wet. It was that simple. She held no umbrella, and no pets or anything were there to shield her. She was dry by shear force of will. That was so very scary. Yet, if you were to face a scary thing that loomed in the forest, wouldn't you like Leu on our side? You'd probably win.... Maybe. If Leu didn't decide that she liked the evil better.

L'rian, being who he was, had no worried in the world about the so-called-evil-forest. He alughed in the face of any danger and took it head on. He wasn't afraid of anything. And, apparently like Leu, things should be afraid of him. Most of the weyr already was. He was very unpredictable. Especially when he got together with Fia, his very own partner in crime, the second half of his team, The Streamriders of Chaos. But, at the moment, he was flying solo. And he had been thinking of explaoring that forest for some time now. And look! Someone new to explore it with! "Heeeeyyy!"

Leu turned her head just enough to look at L'rian, her expression indicating that this had better be important, or there would be more than one danger in the forest, and L'rain's body would never be found. Nothing would be found. Ever. All this was said without Leu actually changing her expression in any way. What does this tell you about Leu? "Yeeeeeessssssss?" She asked, mimicking L'rain's form of calling her as she continued to walk along the semi-path that she was on. Her hair danced behind her, all shiny and dry. Another thing that should be known about Leu. She........ isn't someone you can actually describe in words. If you tried, you'd end up with long complex phrases that, under closer examination, didn't actually mean anything because the words neutralized each-other.

L'rian was completely oblivious to Leu's expression, as well as the lack of change in her expression. He didn't really care. Which also meant he would probably be oblivious to any impending doom. Poor, poor L'rian. One day he's going to do something and his body really will never be found. Hopefully that won't be anytime soon. Though, a few people might wish him to vanish sooner rather than later. "I was just wondering if I could come with you." He said, flashing her a bright smile. Though, he usually had nothing but a bright smile plastered on his face. He found little to frown about.

Bright smile. MUST DESTROY! Yes, that was Leu's thought pattern. Although no capital letters. Those were added for dramatic effect. "Why?" Leu asked, sounding completely..... indifferent? Sarcastic? More of a mixture of the two. Leu continued along the path, still watching L'rian with her face turned just enough. Not even her boots were wet on the muddy path. This is a point of interest, because the path was basically a stream of rushing water. "There are plenty of other paths." This was true, of course.

L'rian looked at her quizzically. "Well, yeah, I know there are other paths. There are other ways than those too. You don't need a path to go into a forest." He pointed out. "And, as to why, because it sounds like a fun idea." He told her with a small shrug, as if there were no other possible reason why he would go into the forest. He was currently avoiding the part of her answer that suggested he not join her and go on his own. He was used to that anyway, so, he didn't quite care. He'd follow anyway if he wanted. It was hard to deter him from what he wanted.

Leu could dissuade L'rian. Leu can do anything she wants to. Because she's Leu. No questions asked. Hopefully no questions answered. "Yes, there are other paths, many much less wet. However, I am on this path." This should have made it clear to any creature with a brain that it was now Leu's path, and anything wanting to contest that would find itself in poor condition very quickly. "Fun?" Leu didn't know the meaning of that word. Her tone said that as well.
