K'lee was despairing. Life was just so unfair to him! Why must he be the one stuck with the -adorable, yes- oh so insane dragon!? It wasn't that Calth wasn't nice and all, you really couldn't hope for a more understanding life-partner, but it was the fact that... well... Calth looked gay. Seriously. Not the happy sort of gay, either. It wasn't really the blue's fault -this time, don't remind him about the other sixty seven times when it was Calth's fault-, and it wasn't too bad, but the pink stars, light blue polka dots, and yellow strips didn't do anything for the manly man! image. It was the small Weyrbrats, who had decided that Calth was a playground, who had decorated him like this. K'lee was now off banging his head against a rock. Poor K'lee. We don't really sympathize, but that's okay. We love him anyways. Nalouli was sitting next to Calth's leg, painting a rather advanced picture for a girl who couldn't even talk yet. It looked like it involved someone -who looked inexplicably like her brother- being decapitated. Yes. We're not about to give her sharp objects..... "Ack.... Ack.... Ack...." It was K'lee's well known battle cry.

Korain, for his part, was participating by doodling fantastic squiggly lines in bright orange, which was apparently his favorite color despite the fact that it contrasted horrifically with Calth's hide. He didn't seem to much mind his sister's violence, though of course he was probably too young to understand it.
Teydrin was showing off her oh-so-pwnsome skillz at portrait-painting. It could possibly be assumed that the circle with the happy-face lines in it was meant to represent Bel, who was sitting there happily watching her flock torture the Bluerider, and the serpentine, white squiggle with wings was almost certainly Nanny, who hadn't been released for more than an hour since the Weyrleaders left. All this was done with a completely straight face.
And that is Nai's contribution.

Anorith was happy. She'd encouraged the Weyrbrats, after all, she couldn't paint. No opposable thumbs. But now...now he was prettiful! And more Calth-y than ever! CalthyoulooksosquishableohIwanttosquishyooooooooou~! (And that included the litte '~', for it is squiggly, and squiggle and squish are vaguely alike in their letterings.) Since her lovely Opal had been chattering on about a masterpiece, Avitona had decided to venture over to see what happened. She looked rather cheerful. But it was Avitona. She was nearly always cheerful. "Hi, K'lee!" she said (cheerfully). "Are you sure you aren't bi? I can't believe a straight man would paint his dragon those colours. And Naluli! SHE'S SO ADORABLE! Oh, and by the way, I'm pregnant with your kid. Oh, Lulu (for the nickname sprang to mind) your picture is gorgeous!" Nevermind it involved decapitation.

Calth raised his head when his Anorith came. She was his Anorith now. Yes, possession was an amazing thing. Really? Oh! I am so glad! I cannot see what some of them are doing from here, but they are all amazing artist! And yes! As soon as they are done! Squishy![/b] Calth lowered his head, so that the few weyrbrats whom had been doodling on his muzzle might continue their work, and not dangle in midair. None of them were hurt. "Ack!" This was louder than the other Acks had been. The cause of this might have been the fact that Avitona had called him bi yes again, or that she was so cheerful. Of course, the main reason K'lee fell over, and started to twitch, was probably that Avitona had just informed him that she was pregnant. Naluli turned her head to blink at Avitona, turned her head to one side, and then started to paint another picture. Again of someone who looked a look like her brother. This one involved knives. ... Yeah.

Anorith was his precious. And Anorith possessed K'lee. For he was her Shirtman Moron, a rare species which randomly says Ack and bangs their head against a wall when their shirts are ripped apart by dragons checking to see if they taste good. Oh, but of course! My Yours must like it, or I shall have to try the taste of his shirts again. And we don't want me to suffer the awful taste again if it hasn't changed. "Is something wrong?" she asked innocently, staring at K'lee. ANd then she congratulated Naluli on the 'pretty picture'.

And while that sentence would possibly not make sense to anyone but Calth, Anorith, and a handful of other people, Ami got it! Yes! I shall find you a washed shirt of his, if you wish,[/b] Calth told Anorith, happy to make her happy. He's such a happy dragon. Let's see how many times we can say happy in the same sentence involving Calth! He's such a happy dragon, who is happy to make others happy, and is happy to be happy when others are happy and making yet more others happy by being happy and..... gay! -in the happy sense this time- "A-are you sure you're pregnant?" K'lee asked, not turning to look at Avitona. Shardit. Shardit. Shardit. "You're not just messing with me?" Distinct possibility, K'lee.... but can anyone else imagine another K'lee -male or female- running around? SO CUTE!!!!! And yes, that deserved five exclamation points on its end.

Can I try his favorite one? Pwease? Oh, Anorith could be devilish. But innocently so. For every time happy was said in relation to Calth, tortured could be used to describe K'lee. "Of course," she said, slightly irked. "I wouldn't make soemthing up like that!" Or...she could. Next time. Assuming there was a next time. Just because the look on his face was priceless. Maybe Avitona could hire Z'them to paint a portrait of that face....

Calth's tail wiggled happily. He liked making other people joyous, and if all he had to do was get K'lee's favorite shirt for his Anorith, he would do that! Oh! Of course! He wore it yesterday, so we shall have to wait, but I will get it! Do not worry![/b] Calth was wiggling enough to cause some of the paintings to look.... weird. "Well, it's you, so I really wouldn't have a clue, would I?" Yes, the look on his was was priceless. It was also amazing, and a face to sink a thousand ships.

Yay! Favorite shirt time! Wasn't it also so precious that K'lee wasn't paying attention to what the dragons were doing? And that Avitona just didn't care? Oh, thank you very much, Calth! You are amazing! Avitona looked very hurt. And when one looks rather sorrowful to begin with, this was the ultimate kicked-puppy look. "You're very meeeee-eaan...."

K'lee-dear is mean, sometimes. But he doesn't mean to be. He's just freaked out. Poor K'lee. Feel bad for him. And then attack him. Because he's squishy. "No! I'm not!" Of course! He never notices! He's very o...oblivious![/b] Calth stole the word from K'lee's head. K'lee knew it because Leu had teased him for it.
