Three months now. Three months and three turns. That's the time it took for Dusth to start to glow. The soft illumination of her hide didn't happen over-night, but neither did it take an excruciatingly long time for it to appear. About three months was right. Three months to the day, perhaps to the minute; the second. Dusth had always been a punctual being. This particular day, however, she slept in late, and only around mid day did she start to wake. Pandra, who had never been a punctual individual, was sleeping late anyways, and so began to wake as her dragon did. Pandra gave a lazy yawn, then turned to watch Dusth's eyelids slide back one by one slowly. When the last pair of the lids lifted, Pandra was startled to be staring at a pair of golden eyes, and she became aware of a feeling of hunger and lust. There was an "Oh Shards" moment for Pandra and she pushed the skins off herself as Dust lifted herself up and vaulted off the ledge. The miniature queen settled to eat, and managed to gorge herself with meat for a moment before Pandra's brain kicked in, and the traditional fight between the rider and dragon ensued. This took a while, for Dusth was a bloodrose, and thus stubborn beyond true reason. Luckily, only about a quarter of a heardbeast had been eaten, so no true damage had been done. The rest of the corpse was sucked dry from the neck, and then pushed aside as Dusth dove for another. This one was only blooded half way before Dusth left out a roar. She'd set her challenge. Males, do your best! Impress the queen!
((Any male can join, as Dusth is tiny, like the size of a small Gem. Oh, and Ami doesn't like flights, just like Nai, so impress me in your first or second post! Good Luck!))

When Berrith decided he wanted to rise, it made no difference to his sadistic rider. A flight was a flight, and nothing more. It didn't matter to him. Well, unless it had been Murath. Or Sayanath. That would have been creepy. Not because of the incest, but just because of the personalities of the people. If this ever happened, he would know some higher power was out there trying to mock him.
So he was alright until the Black informed him of who was rising. Dusth.
Pandra.
Now, while V'taph was not a nice person and definitely had dark, creepy thoughts in his head, this was out of bounds.
Yep. There was definitely a higher power who was trying to turn him into a pedophile. Wasn't Pandra only 11 turns?
This was wrong.
Berrith and what little chance he had, being a Black, flipped in the air as he eyed Dusth warmly. She was exceedingly adorable with her size.

Marinoth blinked as he heard the roar. Eh? Wasn't that the little Queen from his hatching? Oh, right, she was the only Bloodrose that tiny. Right.
And so of course, he decided that this would be fun! K'rion disagreed, very much, but that hadn't stopped Marinoth in that failed attempt at Catching Death, so it wasn't going to stop him now. He dropped to the Feeding Pens and quickly blooded a herdbeast. Didn't need more than one, not for a Queen half his size, but he'd better be on the safe side. Then he jumped into the air and flew over towards Dusth, cocking his head. You're a pretty little Queen, he said politely, though fully aware that the dragoness was unlikely to reply.
K'rion, meanwhile, was still trying to force the Spector back onto the ground through the sheer force of his will, but he realized it would never work. So he didn't really have any choice but to head to Queenrider's weyr. --------------------------------------------------------
Tilanth had spotted the Queen too, and leaped off his ledge towards the Feeding Pens, landing on a beast and sucking out it's blood. This was a first, but he'd heard the term 'beginners luck' and hoped he had some.
Til? What the-?!
I'm going to Chase Dusth.
Chase?! Who?
A Bloodrose.
The little one?
Who else? the Brown replied testily, a little impatient with His, which was unusual for Tilanth.
Oh. O-okay...
Tilanth snorted and eyed the Queen, his eyes flickering to the Black and the Spector. Huh. The King might prove to be a problem here. Oh well!
Hello, pretty Queen, he crooned, trying to hide his nervousness.
M'har, though thoroughly freaked out, also headed towards the Queenrider's weyr. ----------------------------------------------------------
And Fia was just glad that Beneath was too busy hunting purple, butterfly-winged pies to notice.

CHASE! And Brookth was off, joining in with the rest of the dragons as he went to chase Dusth. No way he was going to be left out of any flight. He always got so excited by flights, always trying to impress the lovely dragoness with rolls and twists and other showy things. Although, he did many of these things on a regular basis.
This time he didn't feel so completely out of place. He saw Berrith, a black, and did note that although Dusth was a Bloodrose, and therefore a Queen, she was smaller than most.
L'rian had no say in the matter, though, he had never tried to stop the Stream before. Not hesitating or fighting his dragon at all, he let his mind meld into his Stream's and headed off towards Pandra's weyr.
~~~
Hellioth had a bit different of a mindset. Like his rider, he was a bit hotheaded, and thought that he had to be the best at anything. It didn't help much that the Storm was bigger than just about every dragon in the weyr, aside from Adath at at the moment.
Hellioth wasted no time in chasing after Dusth, crooning to her as he easily speed through the air, gaining more speed as he went. For such a large dragon, he moved much faster than one would imagine. The Storm didn't bother with words, choosing to express his emotion through croons and hums. And of course, doing a series or twists and rolls and flips to attempt to show off, as was custom.
He'd known that she was smaller than average, and thought it was simply adorable.
R'tai had no problem with Hellioth's decision to join the flight. He knew the Storm would be participating in one sooner or later, considering he was a king. Not to mention they both thrived on competition.
And now V'taph would freak out in the morning. Or...not really. Because it's V'taph. And doesn't freak out, he just plots revenge.
