Throughout the day the sky had been very downcast and gray, and ominous looking clouds had become more prevalent as the hours stretched on. Lilith, sleeping in her weyr for the better part of the day, had also grown quite restless. And Z'them was quite worried. He just didn't want to admit what he knew was going on with the Rain.
As the clouds started to issue low rumbles, Lilith finally awoke, her head snapping to the sky as she looked out her weyr at the sound of the first distant thunder. She echoed it, giving a low growl, before her slim body was up and out of the weyr quicker then Z'them could've imagined. The Rain crashed on top of a heardbeast, simultaneously with the sound of another clap of thunder, this one much closer than the first.
As Lilith finished off with the last heardbeat she intended on blooding, it started to pour. It didn't come gradually. No, all of a sudden it just started to downpour and everything was completely soaked in a matter of seconds. Lilith leaped into the air and took off, issuing a challenging bugle in her melodious voice that sounded like rain as she flew through the sky. Lighting ripped across it every several seconds, and it was followed almost instantaneously by the shaking thunder. She would chose only the best, the one that would follow her through this horrendous storm.

"Please, please, please don't!"
Raiden had a hold on Adath's tail and was pulling. The fact that said tail was so big even at the very tip that she could barely get a hold was irrelevant. She could totally stop him if she tried hard enough.
I must, Mine!
"You've never wanted to before!"
It was not Lilith before!
"But Adath-"
I am sorry, Mine. The Storm jerked his tail from her hold, sending his rider tumbling on the stone. She scraped her elbow raw, along with her palm as she tried to catch herself. Then all she could do was stare after him.
She didn't have to go.
She didn't have to go.
She was a perfectly sane human being. She didn't have to go.
But it turned out that she did. So she went.

Lynth rolled over. That was his amazing contribution to the flight. Ami did say her brain imploded.

((And what an amazing contribution it was! XD I think we have a winner! Hahaha.))
Lilith looked back and saw that Adath chose to chase her. She was very pleased. She had always liked Adath. And she liked His as well. The Rain flew higher up still, disappearing within the clouds and pounding rain. She actually started to blend in, her own streaking skin fading into the background of actual rain. She crooned back to him, egging him on as she continued to fly across the dark and stormy sky.

Nai hates Flights, so what you're getting is that Adath followed, crooning in reply. His own hide blended with the backdrop. Blah.

And since Jeni isn't the biggest fan of flights either and wants to end it quickly because she has no time... Lilith crooned back to Adath and made her decision. Pivoting in the air, she flew back towards the Storm and intertwined herself with him. She really had always liked him best.
