((Before this all happened, you might have let me have a chance to post? I was on a plane all day. -pouts-))
Nari was just recovering. If you could call recovering leaning against a wall while white as chalk and panting heavily because you've just vomited. Nari didn't have a strong stomach, and when she'd pushed through the crowd to see Baran and R'hel crumpled on the ground it had been a little to much for her, and she'd barely made it out of the crowd before her dinner had come back up. It didn't help that she'd seen K'lian screaming at the front of the crowd either. After all, R'hel had been his brother.
B'aral had taken one look and turned green, although he did have a slightly stronger stomach than Nari, and so he helped organize everyone back into the Weyr proper, quelling the frightened screams and outbursts of both anger and sorrow. It hadn't been nice, and when he got back to Slornth, the dragon had informed him that Theo of all people had handled the bodies. Cursing, B'aral had gone to find her, but when he had no luck, went back to his weyr and began working. Work was his solution to everything. That, and jerky.
K'fe had kept Pandra away from everything, so it was through Dusth and Justith that the pair found out whet had happened. K'fe had lost all color, and staggered over to a chair before collapsing into it, and staring off into space. Was that what was happening all over Pern? That was so.... horrible and nasty. Pandra clutched at another chair for support before doing the same, and staring off into space. Why couldn't they find a cure?
K'lee, who probably has the strongest stomach out of all Ami's characters besides Leu, who is just weird, helped organize people back toward the Weyr with B'aral, although K'lee kept glancing back at the dead healer and yellowrider. He'd kinda liked both of them. Baran had helped heal him along with the other healers when he was a Weyrbrat, and the loss of a rider... it went without saying that K'lee would be upset. -Except if the rider was C'rin, in which case K'lee would morn Mith.- Calth waddled over to K'lee, curled his tale around his rider, and keened softly, his head tilted so that K'lee could scratch an eyeridge an give Calth some comfort. K'lee had stayed in the Weyrbowl. He didn't think he could face going inside.
Leu had been quite fascinated with the hole event. Things were certainly much more interesting now. When she'd left the Weyr before things had been ever so boring. She didn't know the healer or the rider personally -or not at all- so she didn't bother to morn their deaths. There would be others to do that, and besides, death wasn't really a tragedy, unless the dead had felt pain. It should be a celebration of all the happy and fun -is this really Leu talking here?- times you've had together.
