"Good," Raiden said, uncharacteristic venom in her tone. "You should be." This wasn't going anywhere. She should probably just leave, but even angry she found it hard to leave someone when they were upset.

He was. Very, Very, Sorry. "Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?" He offered. He had to do something.

"Not really," Raiden said. Then there was silence. This really, really wasn't going anywhere. Z'them had better do something intelligent soon, or their relationship would be scarred for life, because that was totally possible.

"Oh, I almost forgot." Z'them suddenly said, remembering. Maybe he could do something intelligent. Or maybe it would all blow up in his face again. "Lilith wanted me to give these to you. We found them in the forest."" He said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out two flowers and a sparkly rock.

Two flowers, and a sparkly rock. By most people's standards, a very, very sad little gift. But Raiden, who wasn't much used to gifts at all, was immediately placated. He had said he wouldn't do it again, and... well... she liked flowers and sparkly rocks. So... nyah. She reached out a hand to take the offerings. "That's nice of her," she said mildly.

Yes, it might have been sad. But, this was Lilith. Small things or big things, neither mattered to her, as long as she liked them. And, Z'them had told her that you give flowers to people you like and Lilith had always liked Raiden. To her, it all made perfect sense and she was very proud of herself for it. Adorable little Rain. The sparkly rock had been something Z'them had picked up and showed to Lilith, who had then insisted upon giving it along with the pretty flowers. Again, it made sense to her. "I will tell her that you like them. It will make her very happy, she was so excited and was hoping I would be able to find you and give them to you."

And Raiden thought that this was very kind of Lilith, and was touched. She managed a smile. "It was very sweet of her to think of me."

Z'them smiled back. "She actually thinks about you quite a lot." He mused, chuckling lightly. "You seem to be her favorite."

"Actually, you're her favorite, but if that's true I'd say that I was her second favorite," Raiden corrected him, shrugging. "I'm very glad that she likes me. I like her too," she added, to be sure that point was understood on all sides.

"Yes, you're right. Second favorite would be correct." He agreed. "And I will tell her. Once I do though, you might just get a whole mountain of flowers in your weyr one morning... Along with some more rocks, and anything else she finds along the way."

"Oh goodness," Raiden said, raising her eyebrows at the thought. "Though I'm sure Adath would wake if she came to sneak these things in. And then he'd panic because we haven't gotten anything for you."
