Theo's eye twitched. How had she allowed herself to become involved in this? She felt hideous and heavy, her feet hurt, the dratted thing kept kicking her, C'rin wasn't helping, AND THIS THING WAS SCREAMING. "SHUT UP!" she roared. The Hart fell over- out of the air- and played dead. Theo resisted the temptation to step on it. After a moment of being glared at, the flitt peeped open one eye and, quietly, got up and flitted over to land on Theo's shoulder. She nudged at her ear, crooning beseechingly. Theo sighed, named the thing Nanny, and fed it. Nanny would, until Theo felt better, always be an 'it.' And Lykath now had a loyal minion. Joy.

Of course no one would say no to her! She was adorable. Besides, she would ignore it anyway and run away with the egg if neccessary. "You, my friend, are not pink." Jilath paused. "But I love you anyway!" And she promptly squished the Darkness flitt to her chest. He was then named Squishy. Poor little flitter. Later, if one were to venture into her room, they would find all the pieces of the Darkness' lovely pink egg sitting on her dresser. They were too pretty for Jilath to just leave behind. She'd keep them fooorrreevvvveeerrrr. And if anyone were to touch them they would meet their immediate and unfortunate demise!
Z'them amusedly watch the little Amber feed herself, and, after picking her up and stroking her for a moment or two, he named her Neitha.
Sonya's little Autumn fireball was named Kineta and L'tarel named the Winter Spirit.
((Fun Facts: Neitha is an Anceint Eqyptian Mother Goddess and Kineta means 'Full of Energy'))

((Three lovely Flits! Yay!))
L'dros was pleasantly surprised by the well behaved Storm. Finally, someone who'd actually listen. He named the little king Damascus, after the steel, of course. He fed it plenty of meat, then attended to the Yellow, who seemed vastly offended that the Silver should push her out of the way. It was interesting to have the little girl around, though he had a feeling she and Baynath wouldn't get along very well. She was dubbed Vanural (after a mineral, Vanuralite, that is yellow), and the impudent Silver was named Frood (H2G2 reference, as well as a mineral, Froodite). Frood sent many annoyed messages to signal its hunger until L'dros finally fed it.
Baynath loved the flits. They seemed to like him as well, following his commands with delight. The Bone was beginning to build a little army, and he loved it. If only the Yellow could clutch. Ah well.

((*Squeaks* Avi-sama is too kind! I'll stick with the Cold Soul Egg, for precious little K'rion has his hands full at the mo. However, beloved Beneath kinda likes the Sunlight Egg for Fi. That okay? *mumbles the word 'shiny'*))
Fia walked into the room, intending to yell 'WHAT THE SHARD IS GOING ON HERE?!', but it became pretty clear as she saw the hatchlings.
Ooooh! Flitties! Pretty flitties! That RYMES!
Shut up, 'Neath.
I LIKE rymes! Pretty flittes, pretty flitties!
She ignored him.
Scout was, of course, trying to make his Hatching-hum heard over all the noise. And, of course, failing miserably.
Fia simply checked to see if any eggs were left unhatched. There were some.

(( But if they're meant for someone else, then don't give them to me.
...well, maybe just one. *shifty eyes* I don't like to steal, but I think either C'rin or J'din need some added torment in their lives. I think egg 15 would do that nicely, unless you've got specific plans for it. Though I can't decide which to give it to... *ponders this* ))

The Indepence Egg hatched a small male Red, who happily worked his way to G'lin. SImultaneously, the Brown from the Forest Floor Egg went hungry to Luciana.
The Theo and C'rin Eggs, for lack of better names, hatched a Spring and a Spector, respectively. It was a bit surprising...one must have thought that some psycho emo flit would have come from the latter. But it was rather normal...both went for Kindre.
Fia's Cold Soul Egg revealed a skeptical and rather dark female Silver. In contrast, the Forest from the Sunlight egg seemed bright and careless. It almost seemed like Faith and Truth all over again. What a coincidence in what Fia-love chose for her chars....and what fun possibilities!
To end the hatching, the River Rushing Egg predictably hatched a female Stream, and Impressed 'Jaise-mine'.
And then came what Avi is laughing her head off at because it's even more coincidental, sure to make Mith happy, irritate C'rin, and drive Theo up the wall with how many taunts and such she could make. The gay-looking Gullohboy Egg hatched a Queen. A Mist. And it went for C'rin. Oh, the irony of life...you can't escape it!

J'din, as he was still insisting on being called, hoping that maybe Salaronth would start calling him by his proper dragonrider name, had just been innocently walking by. He hadn't wanted to walk past the large crowd, but it was on his way to some dark corner he could mope in. Or maybe get drunk and then mope. Yes. That sounded good. What didn't sound good was a cracking noise, and so, ever interested in unhappy things, J'din slid closer to what was going on. And found he'd somehow managed to Impress a little Stream. He blinked and stared at her. She stared back, but soon started to make all sorts of sounds, and it didn't seem like she would ever stop. J'din glowered at her, as if daring her to keep chirping. She kept on. "What a bother," he sighed, then knowing it was inevitable, scooped her up and held her in one hand away from his body. J'din would never actually name her, choosing to just call her a pest, a nuisance, a bane on his life, and for naming purposes - Bother. Or sometimes even Botherella, Botherina, Bothergettheshardsawayfromme.
---
C'rin just...looked horrified at the little Mist. And tried not to touch her. Black will type more later.
