Opal was a very good name for that color of dragon, thought Avitona as she idly watched Anorith. Her hide hide become sparkly in the past couple of days, and poor Avi-dear knew there was a flight. She was only partially nervous -it was part of the Weyr, right?- but more for her dragon's sake. She had heard accounts of botched flights... So she sighed when Anorith entered the lust of a flight, crooning seductively to all of the males, calling them to her. The dragon was small enough to not want or need the blood, which was a relief, as Avitona had not wanted to deal with the whole BLOODITBLOODITBLOODIT! routine. The Opal stretched herself before taking off. Still aware of her Weyr and of herself, the rider worried further on the flight- Anorith would only be chased by larger dragons, which was a scary prospect. What if they hurt her, even by accident? But worries melted away with all coherent thoughts, as Avitona joined her dragon in the sky, circling as she waited for chasers.

Ah, yes... Well... Shinth figured he might as well.... R'hel didn't want to... but... oh well.... Yes. Shinth heaved himself off of his couch, where he had been contemplating the pros and cons of going swimming (wet, pnemonia, and death were among the cons... the fact that dragons didn't get pnemonia didn't seem to matter) and glided over to follow the female. Hey, might as well, right?

Oh! A chaser! And he was shiny! That counted for soemthing...but she didn't know if he was squishy, which counted more. Unfortunately, she couldn't test his squishiness or he'd catch her. This made Anorith very unhappy. For about two seconds.

Anorith! Oh! Oh! NOT AGAIN! K'lee started to bang his head against a wall. He hadn't been driven to that for a long time. Calth's excitement was a little to much after so many month's of calm. Well, not calm. NEVER CALM! This was a Weyr for Faranth's sake. Never calm. With heavy steps, K'lee drew himself away from his head-banging wall, and trudged toward Avitona's weyr. Calth trumpeted his arrival as he shot upwards to chase the radiant Anorith.
The Opal. Was all that quiet Slornth said, tilting his head as his rider looked up, panicked, and ran into a wall. The brown ignored this, and flicked his tail as he took off. Rather than trumpet his loud arrival like Calth had, Slornth gave a low croon, circling Calth and Anorith. B'aral, disorientated from hitting a wall, stumbled toward Avitona's weyr, muttering something under his breath.
F'ysal was freaking out. As usual. A flight? What? No! That meant girls! He didn't want to be around girls! Anorith! I am Purplath! Choose meeeeeee! The black called, hyper as ever as he flew to join the growing group of dragons that was hovering around Anorith. He was about the same size as Anorith... although of course he was larger. He was just very tiny. F'ysal, still spazing, made his way as slowly as possible to Avitona's weyr.
Justith always took his time to take off. His wings were elongated because of the trauma they had received hours after his hatching. He was a clumsy flier, and so he didn't think he would have a chance, but he would try! And judge what was the outcome! He would try! K'fe was worried, but not so much as F'ysal as he made his way to Avitona's weyr.

((Oh, and because I feel like torturing Avi-love much, no rider will ever catch her twice in a row. XD Muahaha.)) Oh! It was Blue Calth! Yes! The only Blue Calth! But he didn't have his moronic rider...no tearing shirts. Too bad... And more! Slornth -didn't hers like his somewhat?- and that Black...she...did not know...was he from Lykath's clutch? And then that Bone. Bonebonebonebone. That was fun to think! But there be dragons! So Anorith was off [to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz...]

WEEEEEEE![/b] Only Calth would yell weeeee..... You have to love him in all his idiotic glory. LOVE THE CALTH. Yes. Exactly. Calth took off after Anorith happily, twisting and turning in the air. He loved to fly! Slornth followed, but didn't bother with the tricks. If Anorith chose him, it wouldn't be because of tricks. That wouldn't be fair. It was okay for Calth to waste his energy, but not Slornth. Purplath, who was the smallest, lagged behind, but made up for it by his chants and croons which had a happy edge. It would always have a happy edge. He was a happy dragon. And ... not quite as smart as Calth... Justith was going a little faster than Purplath, but not by much. His croon was low and persistent, but not heard over Slornth's croon.

((And that is why she is under the "Torture Devices" category. XD Hahahaha.))
Anorith FLIES! Apparently Brookth wanted to join in too. And yes, he did mean more than the fact that Anorith can indeed fly. He'd seen her before. The Stream wasn't that stupid. Flightflightflightflight. Funfunfunfun. Opalopalopalopal. That might be something along the lines of what the Stream was thinking as he launched himself into the air after her, joining the other chasers as he eventually caught up.

Anorith flies. I'm going to catch her. Baynath announced to his startled rider, amused by the response. To him it was very ordinary, but to L'dros...
Shards, L'dros though as Baynath leapt into the air. His first flight, and Baynath had to chase the tiny Opal. He really hoped the bone didn't try and hurt any of the other suitors, or hurt poor Anorith. But coherent though lasted only briefly. Don't hurt anyone... he managed with the last of his will power as he moved slowly towards Avitona's weyr. This promised to be interesting.
But at the moment, that didn't matter. Baynath bugled his arrival as he joined the group of suitors, flying in loops and dives. Anorith would see that he was the best there.

This was good. The Opal was pelased with the amount of chasers, and her croon almost became a purr. Wasn't it delightful? The dragon knew her flight would not last long; she was rather small. Hence Anorith felt she should be devious and keep it around the Weyr, but still have fun toying with them. The Opal -almost iridescent with the lust of dragons- spiraled nearly completely vertical upwards.

Yay! Calth. Ami needs to say no more. He fly after Anorith happily. And the rest of Ami's troop followed him, because she is being to lazy to type it all out.

Shinth followed her- morosely, of course- crooning as best as he was able. It sounded... well... oh, come on, it's morose. Really nothing else to call it.

Brookth followed Anorith too, bugling in his own happy way. The Stream was a very happy little dragon in general. He also wanted to prove he was the best as well, even if he was outranked by many.

Baynath darted up after Anorith, impressed by her tricks in spite of himself. Now this was a worthy challenge! He trumpeted his approval to the Opal, admiring her shimmering hide.

And then, of course, the forgetfulness of her rider combined with her ADHDness completely ruined the flight. She forgot what was going on really and saw Calth, whom she did like, and flew at him. The lust was still there though-- and both the Opal and the Blue began to drop from the sky, tails and necks entwined. Back in the Weyr, Avitona searched out K'lee from the others.

Calth, elated, entwined his tail around the smaller Opal's. K'lee stepped forward, trying to fight against Calth's influence, but couldn't come back to himself. Avitona was rather pretty....
